Scope

This privacy policy sets out how TCM collects and manages personal information and how persons concerned can access that information.

Policy

TCM collects and uses personal information primarily to administer recovery of any
outstanding debt amounts payable to our clients and for our administrative purposes.

TCM takes steps to protect any personal information collected, so it will be safeguarded from misuse, loss, unauthorised disclosure or modification. Only authorised personnel and the sub-contractors of TCM can access personal information.

TCM may store personal information in hardcopy or electronically or may have a sub-contractor store personal information in hardcopy or electronically. The law may require TCM or its subcontractors to retain personal information for a period of time after business dealings have finished. It will be securely stored and disposed, or stripped of identification, when no longer required.

Where personal information is transferred overseas for data storage or for other services,TCM will ensure that those who provide us with those services have privacy policies and procedures consistent with the Privacy Act and National Privacy Principles.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
TCM (either itself or via its sub-contractors) uses personal information to collect debts owing to TCM and to perform other related functions and activities.

Those other functions and activities may include internal administrative, product or service development, planning and research requirements.

Personal information will be disclosed to third parties only as the Privacy Act permits and where there is a valid reason to do so. Third parties may include:

Personal details will not be used for marketing purposes or sold to any other entity.

Access to Personal Information

Concerned persons can access their personal information held by TCM by contacting the Company Secretary.

Where private information has been requested to be disclosed and it is appropriate to release such information, the information will be released within fourteen (14) days of the request.

In some situations TCM may exercise its right to deny access to particular information deemed to reveal commercially sensitive decision processes or where legal action has been commenced. If access is denied, TCM will explain the reasons for doing so.

Complaints and Concerns
Complaints or queries about the management or accuracy of personal information are to be directed to the Company Secretary.

Obtaining the Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may change over time. The Company Secretary will provide a copy of the Privacy Policy when authorised.
